2019 FESTIVAL BEER

YORKSHIRE FESTIVAL OF REAL ALE

The orgnisers of North Leeds Charity Beer Festival are always on the look out for the best beer from independent and micro breweries. This year we will feature some of the best Yorkshire has to offer.

Bridgehouse

Keighley

The Bridgehouse brewery started life in the Rams Head; Sowerby Bridge in 1990. They have move a number of times during the intervening years ending up in  new brewhouse behind the Airedale Heifer pub at Sandbeds, between Keighley and Bingley, and the brewing is now done there. To this day Bridgehouse Brewery still use open top fermenters and traditional brewing menthods.

Chin Chin

Chin Chin Brewing which launched in 2016 is a one-barrel microbrewery run by two brothers in South Kirkby, Pontefract West Yorkshire.

Great Heck

Great Heck have a reputation for producing both traditional and exciting modern beers. The brewery was establisted at the heart of Selby coalfield in 2008 and each recipe is crafted by beer lovers, for beer lovers.

Slightly Foxed micro-brewery which is based in Hebdan Bridge and established in 2011 was rebranded and renamed in 2018 it became Nightjar Brew Co. After many successful years creating award-winning and popular cask beers, the brewery took a decision to undertake a significant rejuvenation.
