2018 FESTIVAL CIDER

This year we will feature three cider producers Farmer Fear, Tutts Clump & Udders Orchard at North Leeds Charity Beer Festival

Farmer Fear

The Fear family first made Cider on their Farm in 1880 and supplied a Public House in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset; we have been making Cider and most importantly drinking Cider ever since. Now we live in Rural Nottinghamshire and grow our own Cider Apples, which enables us to continue our family tradition of producing quality Cider while upholding the ancient art of Real Cider making which has been handed down to me by my Father. Tutts Clump Cider is a family business that was set up in 2006 by Tim Wale which makes award-winning Cider with 100% juice from Real fruit it is sugar and gluten free and also suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.

Medium/dry Real Cider is fermented and matured in oak rum barrels.

Udders Orchard

Udders Orchard Cider Company was set up in 2007, collecting unwanted apples from the gardens and hedgerows of Huddersfield and beyond.  Our cider and perry is made from 100% fresh-pressed juice, with little else added.  It is fermented naturally over winter, allowed to clear, then matured in oak whisky casks to allow the flavours to mellow.
